Hi. I’m Matthew Buchheit.

I started my dream job designing hotels and restaurants in the big apple, NYC. Like Architecture school, I worked passionately for long hours, ate trail mix for lunch and barely slept more than a wink. After 7 years of Archi-torture, working & following suit of someone else, I knew it was time to selfishly create a path for me. With an entrepreneurial mind set, I packed up and headed to Charleston, SC with my newlywed, Jen, with the idea of redesigning our Southern Charmer into a Coastal Chic Oasis and I’ve created a community along the way. Taking the skills I’ve acquired in the field and applying them to residential design has been rewarding on levels I’ve never imagined. I’ve been lucky enough to build a community that’s excited to follow along on our journey and learn how to create high end design with budget friendly pockets.
