Meet Matt and Jen

The Dynamic Duo Behind The Buc Haus

Through their passion for business, real estate, and design, Matt and Jen discovered a special synergy that ignited their love. Matt wasted no time putting a ring on it, propelling them into an adventure-packed life they were eager to build together. Their journey began in a co-op apartment where Matt showcased not only his dance moves but also his impressive DIY skills. A swift galley kitchen renovation marked the inception of what they knew was pure gold.

From that humble abode, they graduated to a house in New York, and then shortly after the world pressed pause during the pandemic. Seeing an opportunity, they took a leap, packed their bags and drove1200 miles South. Today, their home is nestled in the heart of Charleston, SC, but don't expect them to stay in one place for too long. Whether near or far, the Buc Haus will always be because home is wherever they find themselves! Or, as they like to say, Haus is where they are.

Their mission? To inspire others to embrace the new, to believe in their capabilities. Refinish that table, explore a new city, create that video, dance like crazy, and love fiercely. Matt and Jen traveled to Paris (where Matt then proposed) and found beautiful Banksy art under a bridge. This, then inspired them to name their dog after the artist.
